The Sister Act Charity Gala, held at the prestigious Dominion Theatre in London on 16th May 2024, brought together the Financial Services and business community for a night to remember. The event featured an incredible West End performance of Sister Act, starring the celebrated Beverley Knight MBE and the talented Ruth Jones, known for her role in Gavin and Stacey.
Hosted by OKRE, in partnership with LGBT Great, the gala took place on the eve of the 2024 International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). The evening successfully raised funds for the #KindQueerHeart initiative—an OKRE entertainment fund aimed at advancing queer-friendly content and increasing visibility for marginalised communities, including queer people of colour, and trans and non-binary individuals.
