Living in total isolation, a young couple have allowed their lives to become totally governed by their physical needs and urges. Everything they feel is expressed physically, rather than through talking, and no emotion is left repressed. However, upon discovering that the woman is pregnant, their feelings of shock and fear manifest themselves in ways neither of them can control.
This short film marked a personal milestone — my first time editing for Rose Glass, who has since become one of the UK’s most acclaimed filmmakers. Even then, her vision was sharp, distinct, and unmistakably her own.
While my own path eventually led from film into television, this project remains a proud moment — a snapshot of what it meant to be part of something bold, formative, and full of promise.
